Ever since Nisha can remember, she’s been intrigued by colours. Having tried oils and acrylics, she found that watercolour as a medium resonates with her the most. With each of Nisha’s paintings, her intention is to convey the transient, impermanent quality of every moment. Like sand slipping through the fingers, she wants the viewer to feel the urgency to look now or the subject might disappear into thin air. Nisha illustrated 'Garden for Grygoriy' written by E. R. Murray for 'Wild Wonders, an anthology of short nature stories for children'.
