Are you a writing nature enthusiast with an excellent idea for a book?

If so, you might want to get in touch with us to discuss your project.

Below is a simple list of rules to follow:
– At the moment, we’ll be considering only short books, up to 60 pages;
– Your text needs to be related to animals (either domesticated or wild), or plants;
– Submit your idea’s outline and a sample chapter, or – if it’s a picture book idea, the whole story;
– Do not submit illustrations – unless you are also a professional illustrator;
– Make sure the text is free from typos;
– Text set in Comic Sans will be trashed without reading;
– Before you submit your text, think about yourself as a potential reader – would you like to read it?

ILLUSTRATORS

Are you a highly skilled professional illustrator or artist with great craftsmanship who enjoys working on nature-related projects? (We’re not interested in naive or juvenile artwork).

If so, please send us a link to your online portfolio (no attachments, please), and you might be a good match for one of our next projects.

We will reply only to the people we think they’ll be a good match for working with Natural World Publishing.
