Introducing our new book – Wild Wonders, an anthology of short nature stories for children.

We can finally announce our new book, and thank the incredible contributors who made this project a reality! 📔 🥳💪

It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly two years since Natural World Publishing started inviting the first writers and illustrators to the most ambitious book project we’ve published so far.

‘Wild Wonders, an anthology of short nature stories for children’, was brought to life by a group of talented writers and illustrators who possess a special gift — the ability to view the world through the eyes of our most curious children, finding magic and meaning in the beautiful outdoors and the creatures who call it home.

Gina McCrudden once again showcased her exceptional talent as the book’s editor, just as she did with previous publications by Natural World Publishing. Her keen editorial insights and dedication to refining the manuscript have undoubtedly elevated the overall quality of this book.

In addition, Rachel Piercey played a vital role in poetry editing, with regard to the few stories written in verse. Her poetic expertise and a keen eye for detail ensured that the lyrical pieces were polished to perfection, adding a special charm to the book.

We would like to express our special appreciation to Sarah Webb for her captivating introduction, and Pádraic Fogarty for the thoughtful postface, which add an extra layer of depth to this beautiful anthology.
